DerStandard | Solar power from Carinthia for the new metro in Riyadh

KPV Solar installs photovoltaic modules on depot buildings of the new subway in Saudi Arabia’s capital.

In the case of energy, trade has previously only known one direction: the oil-rich Saudi Arabia exported the black gold mainly to China, Japan and India and in larger quantities also to Europe. It is different with solar energy: The Saudis, who are just discovering renewable energies, are dependent on imports of photovoltaic equipment. A company from Carinthia also benefits from this new demand.
